General Policies and Procedures

For New Accounts

Prepayment is required for all purchaser new accounts. Please allow ten (10) business days for the company check to clear before shipment is made. First 5 orders must be paid in cash, certified checks, cashier checks, money orders or wire transfers. Thereafter company checks may be accepted upon approval of credit and verification of credit worthiness. Your company name address must appear on your check and match your account with seller’s permit information. Temporary, personal and postdated checks are not acceptable. We will charge a fee of $30 for each returned check and we will no longer accept checks after a second returned check.

Sales Order Terms and Conditions

Scandin Concept Furniture sales order terms and conditions are set forth on the Scandin Concept website at www.scandinconcept.com . These sales order terms and conditions are subject to change without notice. Each Sales Order signed by a purchaser of merchandise agrees to the Sales Order terms and conditions as part of such acceptance.

Minimum Advertised Price Policy (MAP)

SCANDIN CONCEPT Furniture has determined that its interests are best served through the adoption of a minimum advertised price (“MAP”) policy. This MAP policy is designed to protect re-seller margins and sales process efficiency, support the SCANDIN CONCEPT Furniture brand as a premium offering; and avoid destructive intra-brand re-seller conflict.

This policy has been unilaterally adopted by SCANDIN CONCEPT Furniture and will be effective from August 1, 2011 and uniformly enforced starting September 1, 2011. This policy is applied to exclusive models only.

Policy Coverage

This MAP policy covers all SCANDIN CONCEPT Furniture re-sellers located in the United States. Although re-sellers remain free to establish their own resale prices, SCANDIN CONCEPT Furniture will, without assuming any liability, unilaterally impose sanctions as described in this policy against re-sellers who advertise applicable SCANDIN CONCEPT Furniture products at prices below those specified in companies price book or online. SCANDIN CONCEPT Furniture will not discuss any conditions of acceptance related to this MAP policy, as it is non-negotiable, and will not be altered for any re-seller.

MAP applies only to minimum advertised prices and does not apply to the price at which the products are actually sold, or to advertised prices higher than the unilateral minimum resale prices established by SCANDIN CONCEPT Furniture.

Minimum Advertised Price

MAP prices are published in SCANDIN CONCEPT Furniture’s printed Price Book (effective August 1, 2011) and available for download on our official company Website (visible for logged in accounts only). The products and MAP may be changed from time to time at SCANDIN CONCEPT Furniture’s sole discretion. SCANDIN CONCEPT Furniture re-sellers are responsible for remaining current with MAP policy, products and pricing.

Each advertisement below the MAP will be a violation of the policy.

The MAP policy applies to all advertisements of specific SCANDIN CONCEPT Furniture products in and all media including, without limitation, flyers, posters, coupons, mailers, inserts, newspapers, magazines, catalogs, mail order catalogs, Internet or similar electronic media, television, radio and public signage.

Policy Violations

In the event a re-seller chooses not to follow the SCANDIN CONCEPT Furniture MAP policy, sanctions will be unilaterally imposed by SCANDIN CONCEPT Furniture. Violations of MAP policy shall be determined by SCANDIN CONCEPT Furniture in its sole discretion. SCANDIN CONCEPT Furniture will not accept any communication from a re-seller who has violated this MAP policy regarding the violation or the willingness of the re-seller to bring its prices into compliance with the MAP policy. SCANDIN CONCEPT Furniture reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who violates MAP policy and continuous violations can result in termination of account.

Policy Modifications

SCANDIN CONCEPT Furniture reserves the right at any time to modify, suspend, or discontinue the MAP policy in whole or in part or designate promotional periods during which the terms of the policy change or designate periods of time during which the policy is not applicable. Policy modifications shall be made available on the SCANDIN CONCEPT Furniture website.

Unilateral Action

SCANDIN CONCEPT Furniture is not seeking agreement from any re-seller to adhere to this MAP policy. It is entirely within the discretion of the re-seller whether to comply or not comply.

Contact Information

SCANDIN CONCEPT Furniture sales personnel have no authority to modify or grant exceptions to this policy or have any communications with any re-seller regarding violations of this map policy.

All questions or comments regarding this MAP policy are to be directed to the policy administrator at marketing[at]Scandin Conceptfurniture.com. The policy administrator shall be solely responsible for determining whether a violation of the policy has occurred, communicating decisions to re-sellers regarding the policy and receiving any communication regarding sanctions imposed under this policy.

Freight

To reduce and prevent pick-up traffic, all freight companies are required to call 24 hours prior arriving at our warehouse. All shipments are FOB our warehouse, shipped freight collect. Palletized orders are well packed and protected to ensure safe delivery. Please allow 1-4 business days to prepare the order on pallet.

Getting a catalog

In order to get a catalog you should have an active account with our company, otherwise the catalog must be purchased. The price of the catalog will be deducted from your first order.

Notification of Changes

Please check the SCANDIN CONCEPT Furniture Terms and Conditions regularly, as updates and changes are made as necessary. Any information on the SCANDIN CONCEPT Furniture web site can be changed without prior notification.
